Activity Description
EP Cases for the Real World is a highly educational annual mini symposium that presents recorded cases illustrating AF and VT ablation, as well as LAA Closure from leading centers around the world that demonstrate interesting clinical situations, techniques, and technologies. Each case is accompanied by expert commentary by leading international experts in the field with ample time for audience interaction.

Activity Goal
This activity is designed to address the following core and team competencies:
Patient care, medical knowledge, practice-based learning and improvement, interprofessional collaboration, and roles and responsibilities.

Target Audience
The symposium is intended to meet the educational needs of Electrophysiologists, Cardiologists, Fellows in Training, and Allied Healthcare Professionals with a clinical interest in the management of complex cardiac arrhythmias.

Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this educational activity, participants will be able to:

  • Evaluate different strategies in the ablation of complex arrhythmias.
  • Examine the potential advantages and disadvantages in the use of different ablation strategies.
  • Review the use and application of new technology in ablation of arrhythmias.
  • Assess the role of LAA closure and practical aspects of use in daily practice.
