Editor-in-Chief

Dear Readers,

It is with great pleasure that I introduce to you the March issue of The Journal of Innovations in Cardiac Rhythm Management. This issue is special to us, and marks our anticipated launch of the five sections to the Journal. I am confident that this will further enhance our ability to provide both highly relevant and innovative original content to the clinician community.

The creation of these new sections comes as a direct result of our reader's input, which indicated an interest in specific topics that have proven integral to daily practice. The new sections, Innovative Techniques, Device Therapy, Pediatric Electrophysiology, Atrial Fibrillation, and Innovative Collections, will feature such popular formats as Unique Image Reviews, Clinical Decision Making Commentaries and Complex Case Studies, and each has been assigned a highly respected physician to serve as Section Editor. The Editors will be able to draw from their own personal experiences in commentaries and contributions throughout the year, which will undoubtedly add a more dynamic element to the Journal each month.

On behalf the editorial board and publishers, I would like to extend a formal welcome and thank you to each of these Editors. They are each truly talented physicians, whose insight and expertise will be invaluable to the continued growth of Innovations in Cardiac Rhythm Management.

Innovative Techniques - Samuel Asirvatham, MD, Mayo Clinic

Device Therapy - Ulrika Birgersdotter-Green, MD, University of California, San Diego

Atrial Fibrillation - T Jared Bunch, MD, Intermountain Medical Center

Pediatric Electrophysiology - George Van Hare, MD, Washington University School of Medicine

Innovative Collections - Brian Olshansky, MD, The University of Iowa

We hope that you enjoy this issue and continue to keep in touch. Your interactions have had such a wonderful effect on the progression of the journal thus far!
