Activity Description
This educational symposium features presentations and engaging discussions, which include a review of the latest evidence on concomitant surgical ablation as well as clinical perspectives from the experts.
Target Audience
This activity has been developed to meet the educational needs of surgeons, residents, and other physicians and associated healthcare professionals.
Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this educational activity, participants will be able to:
- Evaluate societal guidelines for concomitant surgical ablation and clinical evidence favoring surgical ablation.
- Assess national registry results to determine the efficacy of surgical ablation in patients with atrial fibrillation who are undergoing mitral valve surgery.
- Examine the perspectives of a Cardiologist on surgical ablation.
