
Activity Description
This accredited activity features leading physicians dedicated the management of Atrial Fibrillation, who participate in a conversational-based panel discussion that examines optimal strategies to successfully develop a Surgical Arrhythmia Treatment Program; which explores a multitude of critical topics; including the importance of multidisciplinary collaboration and shared responsibility for the patient outcome, monitoring and programmatic outcomes, the benefits and impact of establishing a Hybrid AF program, and role of Left Atrial Appendage Management to eliminate the risks of AF-related stroke.

Target Audience

Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this educational activity, participants will be able to:
- Examine current challenges and strategies to overcome existing barriers to expansion of a Surgical AF Program
- Review the benefits of multidisciplinary collaboration between Cardiothoracic Surgery and Electrophysiology for optimizing the care of AF patients.
- Discuss the potential benefits and impact of establishing a Hybrid AF program, and role of Left Atrial Appendage Management to eliminate the risk of AF-related stroke.
