Activity Description
The CME-accredited webinar opens with a presentation on Shared Decision and Patient Perspective, followed by a presentation on SIMPLAAFY, a late-breaking clinical trial presented at TCT 2026. This large, randomized, multicenter study examines whether lower-intensity drug regimens after left atrial appendage closure reduce stroke and bleeding risks compared with standard dual antiplatelet therapy (DAPT). An extended, moderated panel discussion will explore the trial results and their impact on practice, including DAPT analysis, post-implant drug strategies, and shared decision-making. Faculty will answer attendee questions during the final panel and Q&A session.
