Editor-in-Chief

I would like to take this opportunity to introduce the newest section of the Journal of Innovations in Cardiac Rhythm Management “Tracing of the Month”. In the field of EP, we share a fascination with interesting cardiac tracings, both surface and intra-cardiac. Many of us can’t wait to show our colleagues an unusual tracing from a case, and to discuss the physiology behind the tracing as well as the mechanism and treatment of the underlying arrhythmia.

This new section of JICRM will give us the opportunity to share our best tracings with a much larger audience than the close colleagues with whom we typically confer over these cases. I welcome all of you to pore over the tracings published each month, discuss with your colleagues, and to contact us with alternative explanations for published tracings (just because we publish it does not mean that it is the only, or even the correct, explanation for the tracing). I also welcome readers of the journal to submit your own most interesting tracings for consideration of publication, with a brief 1-2 paragraph explanation of the physiology underlying the tracings. Enjoy!

Sincerely,
