Activity Description
This accredited on-demand webcast reviews the definition, prevalence, associated co-morbidities, and economic burden of Atrial Fibrillation (AF) in the United States, and examines the sources and location in the heart for AF. Additionally, the activity assesses surgical modalities for treating AF and Left Atrial Appendage Management (LAAM), including appropriate interventions, and evaluates the benefits of treating AF versus the risk of non-treatment.
