Activity Description

This educational symposium will explore the benefits and potential challenges of patient driven wearables and home medical devices in cardiovascular disease management.

Target Audience

The symposium is intended to meet the educational needs of cardiologists, and other physicians and associated healthcare professionals who are dedicated to the management of patients with cardiovascular disease.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this educational activity, participants will be able to:

  • Review the impact of wearables and home medical devices for managing patients with cardiovascular disease.
  • Evaluate wearable blood pressure monitors in hypertension management.
  • Examine wearables and home devices in atrial fibrillation management.
