Dear Readers,

It is with great pleasure that that I write my first Editor’s Letter for The Journal of Innovations in Cardiac Rhythm Management. I am honored to undertake this responsibility and serve with dedication and commitment to provide you, the reader, with the most valuable educational experience in the field of clinical cardiac electrophysiology.

The Journal of Innovations in Cardiac Rhythm Management was established in 2010 and rapidly became a very popular resource for health care providers and industry workers involved in the field of cardiac electrophysiology. The success of this publication was achieved as the result of the devotion and expertise of the editorial board lead by Dr. John Day, and the hard work and vision of the very talented management team. The editorial board comprises of world renowned leaders who have dedicated their careers to improving the quality of life of their patients. I will work with them to continue to generate an impactful content that aims to achieve the goals of enhancing clinical knowledge. I will also work closely with the management team and strive ceaselessly to facilitate the presentation and delivery of the journal content to you in a manner that takes into consideration your preoccupation with day-to-day functions.

One unique feature of the Journal of Innovations in Cardiac Rhythm management is its focus on the practical aspect of clinical cardiac electrophysiology. This quality separates it from other journals that focus often on basic science research or on topics that have little or no relevance to daily clinical practice. We will continue on the same track and maintain our determination to meet the educational needs of practicing electrophysiologists, as well as medical device companies’ workers who are eager to understand the unmet needs of electrophysiologists.

I am proud to be part of the family of the Journal of Innovations in Cardiac Rhythm Management. I look forward to my interactions with the management team and my colleagues in the editorial board. Working together, we will provide you with educational content that helps you tackle the challenges resulting from the massive changes in the health care field and balance them with the need to keep up-to-date with the advances in the field of clinical cardiac electrophysiology.

Warm regards,

Editor-in-Chief
