Editor-in-Chief

It is my great pleasure to announce a new section to the Journal of Innovations in Cardiac Rhythm Management. Interesting Electrocardiograms is intended to publish unusual electrocardiogram (ECG) findings, new algorithms, old or classic electrical mechanisms of arrhythmias that are not frequently observed in current literature, and also interactions of electrocardiography with newly developed techniques (magnetic resonance imaging, optical mapping, etc.). These short manuscripts should be very visual and the text should only provide guidance for proper interpretation of the ECGs. We would propose that the subheadings for the text be: ECG description, Points to ponder, and References. Limitations for wording can be found in the Instruction for Authors section.

Electrocardiograms continue to be one of the most widely used tools in medicine.

I applaud the initiative of the Journal to have a section dedicated to it, and I am thrilled to accept the position of Associate Editor for the section Interesting Electrocardiograms.

Please enjoy the first manuscript to this new section entitled, “Brugada Phenocopy Induced by Acute Inferior ST-segment Elevation Myocardial Infarction with Right Ventricular Involvement.” I hope you enjoy.

I invite you to submit your cases. We are looking forward to it!
